DAINTY BLUE SAPPHIRE AND BRIGHT WHITE DIAMOND CLUSTER RING. '375' BIRMINGHAM ASSAY
This vintage piece is very pretty with the combination of two different colour sapphires and six bright white diamonds. The jeweller has cleverly designed the ring head to look like a flower rather than just a cluster. The middle (0,05ct) sapphire is of a bright blue hue, whilst the two (0,06ct) sapphires that flank the flower are a deep, dark blue. The petals of the flower are created by a circle of six brilliant cut diamonds with an excellent white colour surrounding the central sapphire. Simply set on a plain 9ct yellow gold shank, the gemstones are claw-set and the shoulders of the shank run smoothly up to and encircle the 2 darker sapphires. The pedigree is indicated by the '375' hallmark, the jeweller's signature and the Birmingham assay mark. Dainty and feminine on the hand, it is a lovely vintage piece of England!
