Excellent Detail by HOTWHEELS  Elite true to their Reputation of Detail & Quality.

The 250 LM was the first Ferrari  Coupe with the Engine at the Back.

Mostly it was Privateers that bought this Thoroughbred to race with, and the North American Racing Team took Le Mans with their Private Ferrari 250 LM  in 1965 ( With a few other Private Entry Ferrari 250 LM &  250 GTO's behind !! ( 5 x Ferraris in the First Six positions)  !! 

First & Second at Le Mans were Two Private Entered Ferrari 250 LM Racing Coupes  with another Private entered Ferrari Third, beating  the Giant Ford Motor Company's US $ 2.8 Billion Developed  Ford GT 40 MK1's which did not finish !!   

Who can forget Dicki Atwood's awesome, incredible  performance with the 250 LMP Ferrari at Kyalami with the the SA Nine Hours in the Mid Sixties when he had the Ferrari's nose in front of Peter Scutcliff''s Ford GT 40 Ten minutes before the end of the Race to take the Race!!

Seller was there himself !! Awesome !!
