THREE LOVELY RETRO "ATHENA" IRONSTONE CHINA FLAT CUP AND SAUCER BY JOHNSON BROTHERS. MADE IN ENGLAND.

THE ATHENA RANGE DATES BETWEEN 1955 - 1999 AND IS DISCONTINUED. THEY ARE WHITE, RIBBED RIMMED AND SMOOTH EDEGED WITH NO TRIM.

THE CUPS HAVE "MADE IN ENGLAND" EMBOSSED ON THE BOTTOM, THE SAUCERS HAVE "JB JOHNSON BROTHERS. MADE IN ENDGLAND IRONSTONE 1G2" STAMPED ON THE BACK.

THERE ARE NO CHIPS OR CRACKS. THE CUPS AND SAUCERS ARE IN GOOD CONDITION. THE CUPS MEASURE APPROXIMATELY 62 MM IN DIAMETER, 80 MM FROM HANDLE TO RIM AND 58 MM HIGH. THE SAUCERS MEASURE APPROXIMATELY 113 MM IN DIAMETER.
