Description
This is a Rare Early 20th Century Star China Co., England, Daisy Shaped (hexagonal & fluted) Trio With Circle Handle. The Star China Company (SCC) was founded by Herbert James Aynsley the eldest son of John who founded the well known firm of John Aynsley and Sons. In 1903 Paragon China was introduced as a trade mark by the Star China Co. In 1919, such was the popularity of Paragon China, the Star China Company decided to change it's name and in 1920 became The Paragon China Company.
Condition
All pieces are in Excellent Vintage Condition with no chips, cracks or restoration noted. Commensurate with age there is slight rubbing to the gilding and little fine clean crazing.
Dimensions
This Cup measures 10.5 cm handle to rim, 8.5 cm across the rim and 6.5 cm in height to rim, the Plate is approx. 18.5 cm in diameter and the Saucer is 14.0 cm in diameter.
