Mostly it was Privateers that bought this Thoroughbred to race with and this Thoroughbred Ferrari took the GT class at Le Mans in '62 & 63 with second overall position !!
The Ferrari 250 GTO also took Three consecutive World Championships from '62 to '63 !!
The GTO was vertualy unbeatable at tracks as diverse as Sebring, Nurburgring, The Targo Floro, Goodwood ,The Tour Auto, Sebring,Riverside and many more .
Greats like Stirling Moss, Innes Ireland, Phill Hill and many more tasted victory in this outstanding Race Car.
All 33 Cars build still excist and represent one of the greatest & most famous Sport Cars ever build. Many are still strutting their stuff on Race Tracks all over the World
