UNUSUAL ELEGANT CLOVER DESIGN DIAMOND RING
IN 9CT WHITE GOLD. *JEWELLER CERTIFIED R 9'540*
This very pretty vintage 9ct white gold ring features 23 x 0,01ct round cut diamonds, and 4 x 0,02ct princess cut diamonds (just over 0,30 carats in total) set into a graceful four leafed clover shaped openwork ring head. The diamonds are a good colour with lovely sparkle. The clover ring is accentuated by the diamonds being set into three slight tiers, to further emphasise the clover design. The entire ring head is raised ever so slightly by virtue of it being set on an openwork frame of white gold. However it sits fairly flat and snug on the finger as the total raised height is fractionally more than 3mm. It's a beautiful piece of jewellery that would make a rather special engagement ring or to be enjoyed as a gorgeous dress ring. It delicate (1,81 grams) but the design presents the diamonds well making it an interesting piece.
The ring is vintage English. No date but there are hallmarks for 9ct gold (375), the jeweller's signature, and the Sheffield Assay. The ring will be sent in a quality ring box (shown in photos above). The ring has been authenticated by an independent jeweller. His certificate for R9'540,00 will accompany the ring. It's worth noting that the certification process is an evaluation of materials used only - not an inflated retail price!
