VINTAGE SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND 18CT YELLOW GOLD RING. *JEWELLER CERTIFIED R 9'588*

This beautiful 18ct yellow gold ring features two of the most famous and classic of jeweller gemstones - blue sapphire and white diamonds. It is set with 1 x 5mm x 4mm oval prong set centred sapphire with three 1.5mm prong set brilliant cut diamonds (0,10ct - hallmarked) on either side. The ring has a particularly lovely colour combination - the deep blue sapphire and the diamonds against the polished yellow gold. Its a very dark blue sapphire that looks completely different depending on the light. The pedigree of the ring is indicated by '750' for 18ct gold, 'DIA' for real, authenticated diamonds, the jeweller signature, and the hallmark for exported into England and assay in Birmingham. It is a dainty piece in design but at 3,3 grams is by no means insubstantial.
