- Made from potassium alum, the Alum Block has antiseptic and astringent properties to help close pores, soothe irritation, reduce razor burn and close up minor nicks or cuts.
- Quick and easy treatment of small nicks, cuts and blood spotting as a result of shaving.
Note: These are Eagle Brand Alum stones factory made in Pakistan. We inspect each stone for moisture damage, so we remove the factory wrapping and then re-wrap the stones in brown paper (see picture below). They do work well and are widely used by barbers. We also use them ourselves. Once you get used to the feel of Alum stones, no shave will be complete without them
How to use
Firstly, wet the Alum Block with lukewarm water, then gently take it across the face, following all the areas which have been shaved. Avoid applying too close to the lips. Rinse the block thoroughly with hot water and then leave to dry
