"ZIPPO SALUTES PINUP GIRLS" Commemorative Lighter 

  I am selling some of my collection of Vintage and Collectible lighters. Up for auction is a "ZIPPO SALUTES PINUP GIRLS" commemorative lighter, tin, soft cloth, brochure telling you about Joan and the 4 season girls and cardboard sheath. In addition, this set has the ORIGINAL order form for the Zippo Pinup Poster/Calendars. Seal on lighter is unbroken. The brochure is immaculate, as is the soft cloth. Cardboard sheath has normal wear and tear from storage as seen in picture.

The Lighter and tin are in Mint condition.

As American as a Betty Grable movie, pinup girls nodded back to the beautiful young woman who introduced the Zippo windproof lighter to the world in Zippo's first national advertisement. Zippo Salutes Pinup Girls paid tribute to "Windy" and the "windproof beauties" that followed her. Zippo's Pinup of the Year was Joan, the 1996 Collectible. The Four Seasons four lighter companion set introduced Holly, April, Sommer and Ida Redd, a collectible beauty for each season of the year.
