Smith, (City Librarian and Director of the Africana Museum) Hardcover with dust jacket. 208 pages with bibliography, index to item numbers, over 100 line illustrations, size is 245 x 160mm. Wear and tears to dust jacket, slight insect damage to front fold and sunning, otherwise in very good condition with tight page block.
These Stone-Clayton sketches are extremely important historical documents as very little in the way of original drawings of this period have survived, mainly because of the popularity of the camera.
