Also up for grabs here is my beautifully detailed South African Airforce Shackelton 1722 made of Phillipine Mahogany. The original plane was first flown on and arrived in South africa in 1958 and is finished in 35 Squadron markings coded P .
After an eventful service with the SAAF it was eventually retired in 1984 and is now housed by the SAAF Museum in Ysterplaat in an airworthy condition. The model comes with a desk stand, is offered brand new in an unopened box. The images are of a model from my personal collection and is identical to the one on offer.
