ORIS Star Twen Automatic Vintage Mens Watch (No Reserve)

This is a great original and vintage Oris watch (1960's).

This is a classic automatic watch from the well known and well regarded Swiss watchmaker Oris. This Oris features its original light colored dial and black leather after market band. It also features raised applied hour markers, a centered sweeps seconds hand and a day-date indicator located at three o’clock. The dial is correctly signed ORIS, STAR, TWEN, Automatic, and SWISS MADE below the 6 o’clock position. The dial is in excellent condition.

The watch measures 36mm across (not including the crown) and 42mm from lug to lug.

The Stainless Steel Screw back is marked Oris Watch Co. Swiss, Water Resistant and Shock Resistant, Top Gold Plated 10 Microns. The automatic movement and is believed to be Cal. 648 KlF movement 24 Jewels, Swiss. I am relying on the comments of experts since I am not able to remove the watch back.

The watch is housed in a substantial Gold Plated case and looks very good for its vintage showing light normal wear. Also note there are no scratches to the glass .
