Ooh, How handsome is this Vintage Item?
On offer we have this Temple & Crook Ironmongers Bombe Mould.
Traditional English Alexandretta ice cream bombe mold with fitted lid and copper strap handle with attached copper ring, and brass removable bottom. Stamped to both the lid and mould with its makers mark “Temple and Crook Ltd Ironmongers Motcombe ST.S.W”. Bombe molds made in copper were provided with a brass screw foot to allow the vacuum inside the mould to be dispelled, making the ice easier to de-mould.
