I HAVE NOT CHECKED EACH AND EVERY BIT, FAR TOO MUCH, MOST IS CLEARLY THICKLY PLATED 18 CARAT GOLD, BUT A FEW SMALL CLASPS AND CHAIN LINKS MARKED 375 HAVE BEEN FOUND. A LOT OF CHAIN BITS, WATCH STRAPS ETC. SOLD AS IS, HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE GENUINE BITS OF SOLID GOLD WEIGHS. Take a chance on it? This pile has been in a plastic packet for many years, collected by a jeweller as spares to repair watch straps, chains clasps etc. Selling as scrap spares. High weight, but majority is plated.
