Briefly about Amber :
Formed over 45 million years ago(during the Eocene epoch), Baltic Amber is an organic substance, a “fossil resin” produced by pine trees which grew in Northern Europe - from southern regions of the present day Scandinavia and nearby regions of the bed of the Baltic Sea. The climate became warmer and trees started to exude big amounts of resin. The resin was cut out of the forest soil of the river and carry her toward the south to the sea. Over time, oxidation and polymerization processes, resin turned into amber. Numerous extinct genera and species of plants and animals have been discovered and scientifically described from inclusions in Baltic amber. Baltic amber is "considered to be the best variety of amber” because there are plenty of succinic acid (succinate). Succinic acid - is the main amber valuable ingredient, which is used for health care also sole Baltic amber does not contain heavy metal impurities.
