STRIKING CONTEMPORARY FIRE OPAL, TOURMALINE AND TSAVORITE GARNET STERLING SILVER RING 925

This striking piece displays a natural Ethiopian fire opal, with tourmalines and tsavorite garnets, set in sterling silver. The ring features a 10mm x 7mm central claw set oval opal cabochon, which is surrounded by 8 x pear shaped faceted tourmaline gemstones. The petals are set with a colourful selection of pink, green and orange tourmalines, which enhance the vivid iridescence flashes of the fire opal beautifully! The narrow shank, splits into four strands on each shoulder, displaying crisp bright green natural tsavorite garnets. The tourmalines and tsavorite garnets are Brazil and Kenya mined. The ring head sits 10mm high above the finger. The '925' hallmark indicating sterling silver is engraved on the inside. It's bold without being huge (21 X 17mm). I tried to show the ring in different lights as the opal varies, depending on how the ring is displayed. The iridescence is lovely.

Fire opal is known to assist with increased optimism, confidence and being socially more outgoing. Tourmaline is said to attract inspiration, compassion, tolerance and prosperity. Tsavorite garnet, in its renewing shades of green, releases old emotional trauma or feelings of inadequacy.
