HPJ present yet another extremely rare, and exquisitely beautiful treasure of our Earth...

From the Patroke Mine in the Kunar Valley of Afghanistan, this rare and beautiful totally untreated VVS peach Kunzite travelled through the Kunar Valley, and then over the Lower Hindu Kush into Islamabad in Pakistan before beginning its journey to South Africa, and to this page - quite an extraordinary journey !

Patroke Kunzite is highly prized on the international gem markets. Named for its mine, Patroke Kunzite (pronounced: Pa-Tro-Kee) hails from the Kunar Valley in Afghanistan's Kunar Province. The primary geographic features of the Province are the Hindu Kush mountains, and the Kunar River, which flows through the Valley.

Patroke Kunzite is a remarkable, incredibly rare gift from nature. The renowned Brazilian gem hunter and lapidary, Tony Diniz is the person responsible for first sourcing Patroke Kunzite while on adventures in Afghanistan's Kunar Valley in 2007 - thank you Tony!!
