***MAY BLITZ THE 2nd OF MAY*** The 2nd of May is the second LP from British/Canadian trio May Blitz. It was released in 1971 following up their previous self-titled release. May Blitz is a British heavy rock power trio that was active in the early 1970s. After some time playing pubs in the UK, the group signed with Vertigo Records (in the US they were on Paramount Records[2]) and released their debut album in 1970.[3] A second album followed early in 1971
