Topaz is a well known mineral, occurring in large and beautifully shaped and coloured crystals, though rarely in pink, purple, and deep blue. The remarkable specimen offered here is especially noteworthy due to its uniquely beautiful colour, and its origin, which you will see above. To simply call it ‘rare’ is an understatement of note ! The image is poor, but the gem itself is exquisite.
