Quarter bound by hand in wassa goatskin leather from South Africa and housed in the original custom made, silk-lined presentation box complete with a silk ribbon bookmark. Includes a specially commissioned portrait of the great man taken by Benny Gool that is SIGNED and DATED by Mandela. A reassuringly exclusive print run, this is copy 355 of only 425 copies. Additionally, this is one of the few copies out of that 425 with the FULL 'Nelson Mandela' signature (as opposed to his usual 'N Mandela'). It is unknown how many copies have the full signature, but the vast majority of the 425 are signed in his usual way.Widely considered among collectors as THE edition of Long Walk To Freedom to own, this is a stunning publication.
The book isn't in pristine condition however this does not detract from this being the most coveted of the Illustrated Long walk to Freedom editions.
