BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE GARNET AND PEARL RING FROM ENGLAND
9ct YELLOW GOLD
This beautiful vintage ring is made from solid 9K yellow gold, and is handset with garnets and pearls. Three round cut deep red garnets are set with twin seed pearls between the three stones. The jeweller has crafted an intricate and pretty filigree die-cut design on the gold area raising the ring head - a style popular many years ago with the jewellery craftsmen. The shoulders of the ring are decorated with a gentle leaf-like spiral design, which connects to the filigree ring head pattern. It's a very stylish English piece, full of character and charm! Its a vintage piece bought in Birmingham, the jewellery quarter of England. Sadly, the hallmarks are so worn I can't give you much information about its pedigree. It is an exquisite piece - please look at the specs carefully as it is a fairly small finger size.
Garnet is known to inspire love and devotion. The pearl is a symbol of pure mind and heart, innocence and faith.
