Antique Chest (A very handsome piece)

 This is an amazing piece of history

The leather top (which appears to have been hand painted) has small tears but the whole piece is still there

The metal parts are worn

The wood is in good condtion for its age, you can see that it was hand crafted by the way the wood is slowing pulling apart (This pulling apart makes the appearance of the item look lovely and does not affect the functional aspects of the item

The chest stands 40cm tall

This item cannot be sent via the post office or with our couriers

You can collect the item in Newlands, Johannesburg

Large or bulky items may need special packaging or can only be sent via a specific courier, before selecting a shipping option please check that the option you wish to choose is appropriate for your item being shipped.

We cannot be held responsible for items being damaged while in transit with SAPO or the courier we use. Some items will have insurance on them and we can assist with recovering the cost of the item if severe damage has occurred. Photographic proof of the damaged item will need to be emailed to us for this to be carried out.

We are not responsible for how long it takes for your parcel to reach you.  SAPO is notoriously slow so please don’t expect miracles with them. If you don’t collect your item in time and it is sent back to us you will need to cover the cost of shipping again and if you decide you don’t want the item you will lose out as we will not refund items sent back to us!

The courier only delivers to major city centres or areas very near. If the courier will not deliver to your area, the SAPO option will be used. Please supply the correct address, if you made the error when supplying the address, I cannot be held responsible for a wayward parcel.

If you want to collect your items please do so within 3 months of purchasing them or they will be donated to charity. No refunds are given if you come collect and decide you don’t want the item, the item is photographed clearly and if you have any questions about the item please ask before ordering.

We give the best service we can and will be in communication with you about your item until it reaches you safe and sound. Please contact us rather than giving a negative rating, we try our best to ensure you dealings with us are satisfactory.
