Pictures and booklets of the 1956 SPRINGBOK rugby team who toured Australia and New Zealand sold together. Most of the pictures are full page originals from 1956 'Huisgenoot' and 'Brandwag' magazies. Some of the pictures are glued to scrapbook pages. The three booklets (160mm x 260mm each) has torn spines. Two of the booklets were supplements to 1956 'Huisgenoot' magazines and one was a supplement to a 1956 'Outspan' magazine. Except for the covers of the booklets, the contents is still in a good condition for its age. The cover of the booklet 'Springbokke van 1956' was signed by Daan Retief, one of the 1956 players.
