Book is clean and square with white pages and sharp corners and only a small former owner's name at the bottom corner of the front end paper. Jacket is in excellent condition with only a short closed tear at the top left corner. 125pp. Book still has the original CNA price sticker on the back panel of the dust jacket.
An unusual item for the Battiss collector. It contains short sayings by people of note, translated into Afrikaans by actor and author Chis du Toit. The dust-jacket is illustrated by Battiss and there are numerous line drawings of very poor quality throughout by Battiss.
