Three Act Tragedy:
Poirot is at a party as the guest of retired actor Sir Charles Cartwright. When the local Reverend chokes to death on a cocktail and it transpires it was murder rather than an accident, Poirot is at a loss to understand how it happened. After all it could have been any of the guests who picked up that particular glass. When another murder occurs and the suspects are the same people as in the first case, Poirot is determined to get to the bottom of things.
The Clocks:
Sheila Webb rushes from a house where a man is lying dead in a room containing several clocks all set at 4.13. She crashes into Lieutenant Colin Race who is in the same road investigating a potential spy ring. With several suspicious neighbours as suspects, and further murders, Hercules Poirot is the man to find out the truth.
Hallowe'en Party:
A Children's Hallowe'en party is a fun occasion and certainly no-one expects a murder to take place. Joyce Reynolds boasted that she witnessed a murder but then Joyce was well known for telling tall tales - and this particular tale ended with her death. Ariadne Oliver asks her old friend Poirot to solve this tragic crime.
