VERY RARE Collectable Dutch Spoon - Pewter although the Handle by its dark appearance and pliability I would imagine is a LEAD Based Metal. The Bowl is SOLID
The handle is ornately designed and has THREE Oval Portions inside of which each one is an image (from top to bottom - Frog, Fern and Fish) - and on the back of the handle is stamped in a Raised Pattern within a shield .. the letter "F" which could have something to do with the three images on the Front of the Handle ALL beginning with this letter. This would then mean that the Spoon was from an ENGLISH country which in fact may be possible -- (Ive called it dutch because the only other one I found online was advertised as such--as well as being advertised as antique!!), Just above the Bowl is the designed image of a child which appears to be looking over a table with items upon it. The top of the spoon is adorned with a STORK Also within a Shield at the back of the handle is the raised stamped image of a cherub holding a flute
This Spoon is in PERFECT condition with NO damages at all
