Population Statistics at NGC reflect 1 MS62, 1 MS63 & 2 MS64. The PCGS population statistics reflect a single MS64 but this specimen was crossed over to NGC some 16 months ago, so the actual population of 1934 half crowns in MS is 4.
The coin on offer here is one of these 4. It is a magnificent specimen, fully struck, displaying full mint bloom & no detracting contact marks or toning.
In the last 15 months at least 8 specimens were submitted to the NGC for certification & none achieved mint state grades. It is unlikely that we will ever see any more mint state specimens being graded which makes the 4 MS specimens extremely rare.
Undoubtedly a superb investment and a magnificent addition to any collection.
