Reg Jordan hand coloured etching titled Die Voortrekkers early 20th C

Offered for sale is a fine hand coloured etching by listed South African artist Reg Jordan. The etching is titled Die Voortrekkers and is signed in pencil bottom right of the print as well as in the print itself in a small window above the title which is also written in pencil on the left. The engraving is not dated however most likely dates from 1920's to 1940's. The print is in good condition and framed behind glass with a white mount board and wooden frame painted white. Reg Jordan is noted for his romantic renderings of rural landscape scenes especially in the Cape as well as historical landmarks and buildings. Other etchings by his hand typically have titles such as  Approaching Stellenbosch ; Edge of the forrest, Knysna ; Tzitzikama forrest, Knysna; Drakenstein valley ; Farming near George; Water wheel Prince Albert ; The Outspan; Approaching Swellendam etc
