UNUSUAL VINTAGE 9CT GOLD ABACUS PENDANT NECKLACE WITH
DIAMOND, TOURMALINE, QUARTZ AND SPINEL GEMSTONES
If you like jewellery that is different and unusual, this might appeal to you. It's a vintage piece, bought in London, but it has a distinctly modern feel ... with a quirky twist. The pendant consists of a 9ct yellow gold abacus which has four parallel bars on which a moveable slider has been set. Each bar contains a small, round cut claw-set natural gemstone: a bright green tourmaline, a small natural diamond, an orange quartz and a dark blue spinel. The pendant is 28mm x 14mm (including the bale). The pedigree of the piece is indicated in the '375' hallmark indicating 9ct yellow gold, the jeweller's signature, the London Assay mark and the date '1978'. Charming and quirky, this is a delightful piece! It comes on a fine 9 carat yellow gold 46cm chain.
