DESCRIPTION:
A white glazed ceramic wall plate, decorated with a hand-written cobalt blue
Frisian proverb "In goede buorman is better as in fiere freon", (Better is a
neighbour who is near than a brother who is far away - Proverbs 27:10), within
a traditional hand-painted cobalt blue Dutch Delft floral and foliate border.
MARKS:
Number 104, Delft Blue, Hand Painted and Holland.
CONDITION:
No cracks, with fine overall crazing and a small rim chip (see close-up image).
DIMENSIONS:
Approximately 22cm diameter X 3cm height.
