DESCRIPTION:
A white glazed porcelain vase in the form of an African-Caribbean lady's head, decorated with
hand-painted brown flesh-tones, black hair, red lips, pink, green and lustre headdress, gilt earrings.
MARKS:
No maker's mark, either made in Japan or U.S.A. by Napco, Enesco, Relpo, Ruebens or Inarco.
Styling is more important than the maker, so a mark does not necessarily make a vase more desirable.
CONDITION:
Two hairlines and a missing piece to rim, with some glazing imperfections and gilt loss.
