A New and Accurate Map of England and Wales - George A.Cooke 1807 Ref. MP6

The above map has a handwritten note at the foot, indicating that it is from Cooke's 'Geography" dated 1807. It is likely to be from Cooke's 'Modern and Authentic System of Universal Geography' which was published in two volumes, the complete title reading -  'containing an accurate and entertaining description of Europe, Asia, Africa, and America: as consisting of continents, islands, provinces, countries, cities, towns, promontories, capes, bays, peninsulas, isthmuses, gulphs, lakes, rivers, harbours, forts, mountains, volcanos, &c. being a complete and universal history and description of the whole world, as divided into empires, kingdoms, states, republics, &c....forming a complete collection of voyages and travels, and comprising an authentic and entertaining account of every thing worthy of notice throughout the whole face of nature / by George Alexander Cooke.'
George Alexander Cooke was well-known from his previous publications of COOKE'S MODERN BRITISH TRAVELLER; OR TOURIST'S POCKET DIRECTORY.'  This was a small version having 46 neat little maps

This particular map measures 22.5cm x 27cm, and remains in good condition, showing a centre fold.
The counties are hand-coloured in shades of brown, and outlined in green and red.  Recently framed, the frame measures 37.5cm x 43cm.
Please note, I am NOT a qualified archaeologist/antiquarian and the description I have given is based on research of the subject.

This is a genuine antique. The classification of an 'antique' is that it should be 100 years old, OR MORE. There are many articles being offered as 'antiques' when, clearly, they are not.
