  GORGEOUS VINTAGE SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND 15CT YELLOW GOLD RING. *JEWELLER VALUATION R 21'648*

This beautiful vintage piece from England is a delicious combination of warm yellow gold with cool blue sapphires with sparkling diamonds as a counterpoint. The ring head is quite large at 13mm square. It has softly rounded corners and scalloping on the edges. The central stone is a 5,5mm emerald-cut cornflower blue sapphire bordered by a notched gold frame with lattice openwork linking the central stone to the border. 16 tapered baguette-cut blue sapphires are set in to the corners, 2 bands in each, bezel set. These are linked by a border of 12 x 0,9mm round-cut diamonds, 3 on each side of the square, linked to the central sapphire by openwork. The 15ct hallmark appears on the shank, and the gemstones have been tested and authenticated by an independent jeweller. I bought it in Birmingham in the jewellery quarter of England. This piece comes with an evaluation certificate for R 21'648. Rather a special ring!
