VINTAGE ORIENTAL WOODEN BOWL
EXQUISITELY CARVED
The bowl is in a very good condition. There is one small crack as per the 2nd to last image, but it appears to have been there before the bowl was carved.
The carvings on either side of the lid depict a lion stalking and catching an antelope, while the rest of the bowl is embellished with carvings of leaves and flowers.
The bowl measures about 37cm x 18cm and is roughly 14cm tall with the lid on.
The exact age and type of wood is not known, although it could likely be boxwood.
