An essential or a Necessary Bear?
I bought this professionally hand crafted bear in a 'Bear shop', located in Simon's Town next to the railway station, in 1990, called either 'Bear Necessities' or 'Bear Essentials' - my memory fails me ... he was named 'Bimbo' (no relation to any of the same description).
He has lived in various places around the house, was respected and not played with, and aquired the jersey one particularly cold winter.
He does have a bit of a sneering expression on his face ... I asked my son about it and he said: "They were given individual expressions and you thought this one showed a sense of humor ..." ?? Well I suppose that is Bimbo's charm :-)
