The photo’s are rather indifferent and do not do this magnificent piece any justice at all – it is an incredible work. It has been ‘sight valued’ by two of SA’s leading Jewellers at R155,000.00 & R169,000.00. We will prepare an Appraisal Valuation that reflects this, and of course the Buyer is more than welcome to obtain furher accreditation.
The feature stone chosen for this magnificent piece is a 6.64 Carat VVS natural totally untreated Tanzanite. The colour is exceedingly rare, and the gemstone has been extremely well cut.
We drew our inspiration for this extraordinary piece from a subtle merging of East and West – you will note the intricate engraving on the body of the pendant (which cannot be seen on the images here). It is a fusion of medieval Florentine art, and the imagery of the Ottoman Turkish Empire. This hand carving took many many hours to complete, and adds a dimension to the piece that sets it apart from mere jewellery.
TECHNICAL DATA
The pendant was made entirely by hand by Aristocracy Master Goldsmith Gavin Van Heerden. From the melting of the gold to the piece being ready for setting and engraving took over 35 hours.

The gold used was the highest quality 18k Palladium White Gold.
In keeping with the Florentine influence, we selected a fine quality 18k gold Italian chain.
There are a total of 104 high quality natural diamonds set into the piece, totalling 1.74 Carats. The diamonds are set using a technique developed by and unique to Aristocracy.
