A white glazed porcelain combination ash tray and match holder, decorated
with a polychrome hand-painted tropical landscape scene of a lake, boat
and trees at sunset, lilac-blue lustre border, black edged rims.
MARKS:
Chikaramachi, Crown within a Wreath and Made in Japan.
Chikaramachi was a branch that operated in the Noritake factory.
CONDITION:
No chips, cracks or crazing, with some wear and paint loss.
DIMENSIONS:
Approximately 9.5cm length X 6.5cm width X 4cm height.
