Description
Rare Antique Royal Albert, Made In England, " Daisy " Trio. This is one of the earliest Royal Albert Patterns manufactured by T.C. Wild & Sons Limited, Crown China Works, Longton, Staffordshire, England. Royal Albert was the trading name of the firm founded by Thomas Clark Wild in about 1894. The Crown Backstamp dates this Trio to between 1896 and 1904.
Condition
All pieces are in Remarkable Condition with no chips, cracks or restoration noted. Commensurate with age there is some fine clean crazing, very slight rubbing to the gilding and possibly some very minor rubbing of the pattern which are mentioned for accuracy.
Dimensions
This Cup measures 10.0 cm handle to rim, 8.5 cm across the rim and 6.0 cm in height to rim, the Plate is 18.0 cm in diameter and the Saucer is 14.0 cm in diameter.
