This single board computer will enable people to learn how to program at the lowest level. Machine code.
Once again this is an attempt to establish whether it would be worth my time and money to get this single board computer into production.
Pictured is the Junior Computer that appeared in the May 1980 issue of Elektor magazine and this SBC will be based on this model. The new SBC will differ in appearance from the old one.
It will still have the 6 digit display and hex keypad, but the memory map has been changed to 8K blocks with 8K memory and 8K ROM(EEPROM). All integrated circuits have been replaced with CMOS versions to keep current consumption down so that the board can be powered from rechargeable cells.
Price would be circa R450 to R550.
To the people that have responded to my first listing, I have not forgotten you.
You can indicate to me whether you are interested by sending me a question. If you do want to spend R1, I will at least have your contact details then and I will refund you the R1.
