The Huawei E586 is great for sharing with your family, friends and work colleagues. Any WiFi enabled gadget can be connected to the Internet through Huawei’s Mobile WiFi hotspots.

Just imagine being able to connect multiple devices to the Internet wherever you are and whenever you want – at home (sharing your hotspot with your family and friends’ WiFi gadgets), at work (sharing it with your work colleagues in a meeting) or working and socialising remotely (connecting your laptop, tablet, game console or Smartphone whilst in the car, on the train or in the middle of a campsite when you are on holiday and you want to connect to the Internet).

Speedy Internet connection

Fuss free, the E586 Mobile WiFi hotspot is installation and configuration free. It couldn’t be easier to use. It boasts auto detect software which allows you to use any O2, Orange, T-Mobile or Vodafone data enabled SIM card* to connect to the Internet in just 15 seconds. It offers super fast download speeds of up to 21.6Mbps and upload speeds of up to 5.76Mbps. *The auto detect software does not recognise Three and MVNO data enabled SIM cards.

Easy to charge

The E586’s battery can be recharged using any USB power source such as a laptop, car charger or power chargers with a USB port.

User friendly LED display

The Huawei E586 features a user friendly LED display. The data counter allows you to track your data traffic consumption, check the strength of your signal and view the number of devices which are connected to the E586. You can also view your Internet connection speed, battery level, connection duration, international roaming status (for when you are overseas), view new messages and change your settings. All this information is displayed clearly on the small screen.

WPS button

The E586 also has a great new feature – the one touch WPS (WiFi Protected Set Up) connection button. The WPS button allows users to view their WiFi user name and password on the screen for pairing with new WiFi enable gadgets.

Battery life

The battery offers five hours continual usage time and 280 hours stand by time*. *Depending on the network and environment.

Compatibility

The E586 is compatible with the main computer operating systems, including Windows, Mac and Linux.

Memory

The E586 comes with a Micro SD digital memory slot which can support Micro SD cards* of up to 32GB. This means you can save, transfer and share all your favourite content such as music and video files. *The actual Micro SD memory card is an optional accessory and is not included in the package.

Data and SMS service

The E586 can also send and receive text messages via the dashboard homescreen and you will be notified of all incoming messages on the LED display.
