Antique 'Old Paris' French Empire porcelain vase Circa 1850-1890 Ref. OR-7
On offer is this beautiful 19th C Old Paris French EMPIRE lilac ground Porcelain vase.
A central cartouche depicts a hand coloured painting of a pensive girl holding flowers. She is dressed in the typical French fashion of the day.The colors are vivid and elegant, the handles ending in the form of male masks. Gold gilt is found on the handles, around the cartouche and the rims of the vase. No makers name (often the case with articles of this era in France), it is in very good condition with some minor wear of gilt-due to the age. The vase stands 26.5cm high.

This is a genuine antique. The classification of an 'antique' is that it should be 100 years old, OR MORE. There are many articles being offered as 'antiques' when, clearly, they are not.
