GORGEOUS EARLY 20th CENTURY 5 STONE TURQUOISE 18ct YELLOW GOLD RING. 

This is a beautiful 20th century 5-stone turquoise 18ct yellow gold ring. The ring dislays five graduated turquoise oval cabochon natural gemstones in a line, with a shared claw setting, and a raised openwork ring head. The turquoise is of a stunning soft blue hue, with a few flecks of natural light brown inclusions, against the plain and polished yellow gold shank. The ring bears the hallmarks '11' and '18CT'. It's an unusual piece of vintage jewellery with an alluring sense of a story to tell! Most of the hallmarks have been lost over time but the 18ct hallmark in its vintage typeface is still visible. I bought this one from a vintage specialist in Birmingham, the jewellery quarter of Midlands in England. They dated it back to the early 20th century. 

Turquoise is known to be excellent for depression and exhaustion, stabilizing mood swings and instilling inner calm.
