 SHALLOT FERRARI

Shallots are remarkably easy to grow from seed. Essential in French cooking, with a flavor described by some as in-between onions and garlic. For soups, salad dressings, vegetable dishes, and casseroles. Ferrari is a top-performing variety.
Shallot 'F1 Ferrari' is exceptional French variety that grows from seed. With a roundish shape and superbly coloured rich red-brown skin, the flesh is red-tinged and delicious when used either raw in salads or cooked.
Ferrari produces ample yields of 5cm round shallots in a few short months. Bolt resistant, it is an excellent variety.
