Two interesting items that belonged to Jacobus de la Rey (son of General Koos de la Rey)
The first item is a booklet with Union Loan Certificates that looks to be unused.
The second item is a “Rapport-Ryers Fees-Program” (Lichtenburg 1949).
On page 5 of the program is says the following
De la Rey was not happy with this and made this affidavit (as executor of his fathers will) on the first page of the program - in essence it denied that the de La Rey family wishes to donate the wagon to the town!
