World War 2 bomb tail fin
Rescued from a metal recycler - 250lb General Purpose Bomb Mark 1 Tail Fin
The tail fin is 70.5cm tall and 26.5cm wide. It is well rusted with surface rust but nowhere has it been rusted through the metal. It has been painted with a type of paint that will be easy to remove.
The delay mechanism propeller and shaft is still intact.
An ideal restoration project. Imagine this piece fully restored and re-purposed as a lamp for a man cave.
