COMPLETE KGV SET IN MINT QUALITY
A luxury Davo album page with a complete set of all the KGV Kings Heads or a total of 22 stamps. All are top quality mint and in excellent condition, with vibrant colors and good centering. They are all unmounted with the exception of the 2d Coil, 6d, 5s and £1, all of which are very lightly mounted mint (the values have been adjusted accordingly). This is an extremely difficult set to put together and it has outstanding investment potential. Most of these stamps have more than doubled in value over the past five years and is seldom offered in a complete set like this. Catalogue values are based on the 2015 SACC. You therefore get the added advantage of lower estimates as compared to Stanley Gibbons or even the new 2017-18 SACC. Please note the following:
- The nibbled perforation at the top left of the £1.
- The apparent disturbances on the gum of the 5s showing up as white smudges are just reflections on the holder and therefore not real.
- A number of stamps have minor gum creases / disturbances / dis-coloration as is normal with stamps this old and this issue in particular.
- Very faint hinge remainders / marks on the mounted mint stamps as indicated above.
