This stylish piece is simple and contemporary. A large (4,29 carat) oval-cut natural chalcedony gemstone is claw set in the centre of the ring head, the soft grey almost lichen-green colour has a fascinating shine to it, almost reflective, depending on how you angle the ring. Reminds me of the effect you get with a moonstone. To further offset the gemstone, the chalcedony is bracketed on the shoulders by 2 cuffs of round-cut diamonds, 5 on each side, all claw set, adding sparkle and texture. The contrast between the white diamond, the grey/green of the stone and the warmth of the 9ct yellow gold setting marks for a beautiful piece of jewellery. Narrow at the bottom and widening to the shoulders, this piece fits snugly on the finger, is quite smooth and rounded flattening into an interesting platform effect on the shoulder where the diamonds are set.
