This exquisite Victorian antique brass toddy kettle is in very good condition for its age and measures 18cm high x 17cm wide x 24cm long. The kettle weighs a very decent 930g. Footed toddy kettles were traditionally used to boil water to add to whiskey to make a "hot toddy". This kettle dates back to circa 1850 and would be an incredible part of any antique collection. It also has a beautiful wooden handle and three brass feet which makes the kettle very sturdy. It is a truly stunning item with wear and tear consistent with its age. The handle of the kettle has been professionally repaired (please see photos). Please view the pics carefully to fully appreciate this antique brass toddy kettle and to confirm the condition. An almost identical kettle was found online - see the attached link.
