Good working condition
This is an extremely handy and versatile power cutter and is in a good and 100% working condition.
Made during the time when Black&Decker tools were still being manufactured in West Germany, so you can be assured of a quality tool!
The blade is still in good condition. It cuts hard materials well, but for softer materials like fabric the blade could do with a sharpening. Blade is easily removable for sharpening.
It is able to cut almost any type of material from rubber to carpets to fabric to metal.
According to the instruction sheet, the following materials can be cut:
Cloth
Cardboard up to 6mm
Carpets up to 10mm
PVC up to 3mm
Plastics up to 1.5mm
Roof insulation materials
Steel sheets up to .5mm
Aluminium up to 1.2mm
Leather up to 2mm
Polystyrene
Wire or cord up to 1mm
Foam up to 4mm
Rubber materials up to 4mm
