This well crafted figurine mask is believed to originate from East Africa and is a hand carved figurine with a paint technique on the wood to make it look like stone. We found that these statues were used to give other African tribes indication of who ruled that land or area. This statue is perfect for African art enthusiasts and would also make an awesome feature piece in an entrance hall etc. The figurine is mounted on a square base and measures 170cm high x 25cm wide.
